The Red Reflet is a working Cattle Ranch, and a resort Guest Ranch, not a rustic or traditional Dude Ranch. We want our guests to feel like part of the ranch family and our hope is they experience life as it exists on a real working ranch, a Western lifestyle unique to Wyoming. The ranch is an opportunity to reconnect with family and friends; forging new bonds through shared adventure, experience, discovery and learning.
The Red Reflet is also a Resort where the focus is on new experiences coupled with rest and relaxation. While a working ranch at its core, the Red Reflet offers many non-ranch activities to try and new places to explore.
Owners Laurence and Bob, as well as most of the staff, live on the ranch all year. The ranch is their permanent home and they welcome you as their guest, helping you experience everything you can about life on a working cattle and horse ranch.
Every guest receives personalized attention. Once your stay is booked, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire to help us better prepare for your specific needs and requirements as well as schedule any desired activities and/or equipment usage for your stay.
While at the ranch, you get up close and personal with the area, do what you want, when you want to, and never worry about incurring a bill or extra charge for doing Ranch activities, as everything (or just about) is included.

Owners Laurence and Bob Kaplan are both jet pilots (they fly their Cessna 500 – N1DA – from the Ranch’s Airport (WY00)), have traveled the world, speak multiple languages and are active philanthropists. Yet their true love is this ranch and it’s apparent. Bob and Laurence are the hosts at almost all the meals, come along on the activities and treat you like part of the Red Reflet family.
The Red Reflet staff who live on the Ranch year round are a diverse group with a mix of skills and talents providing an unmatched welcome to guests.
